I Tried Kendall Jenner's DIY Face Mask

Recently, I've been watching so many Vogue get ready with me videos. They have really inspired me to experiement more with makeup and get more into skin care. Over the past few weeks ive gotten a ton of new makup products so let me know if you want me to do some sort of review! Anyways, as I was binging those Vogue videos, I came across Kendall Jenners. In the start of her video she has this green face mask on that she actually makes herself! It is only 4 ingredients and she claims it "Feels really nice. It moisturizes you and makes you glowey." Kendall Jenner's skin is flawless so obviously I had to try it out for myself. Spoiler alert: its life changing.

You will need....

- 1/2 an avocado (I used a small one and had a little extra)

- A small handful of oats (I used just plain minute oats and blended them into oat flour for a better mask consistency)

- 1 tablespoon of honey

- Optional: a few drops of lavender essential oil

Directions:

- Mash avocado in a bowl

- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix to combine

- Apply evenly on your face and let sit for 15 minutes

So, how was it?....

If you want the quick answer: This mask was amazing, so moisturizing and it left my skin feeling so soft and supple.

If you want the long answer: This mask took me maybe 5 minutes to make and I already had all the ingredients at home which was super convinent. I've done homemade face masks in the past and they either dont stick to my face, or just dont do anything. Because I blended the oats into flour rather then leaving them whole, the mask stuck super well to my face and wasnt falling everywhere. While it was on it felt really refreshing and moisturizing. I just washed mine off with a wash cloth and water and after, my skin felt great. I really did feel like I was glowing and my skin just felt so clean. I didn't have any negative reaction what so ever and I have done it so many times since! You must try this mask!!
